Artur is an amazing dance teacher and person. He has changed many people’s lives. In March this year his life changed. He was diagnosed with type 4 glioblastoma – a very aggressive brain cancer, growing so rapidly that urgent surgery was needed to save his life. But he is not out of the woods – this cancer always comes back, and quickly despite radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Things looked hopeless. But then we discovered a new cancer vaccine. Regulatory standard clinical trials have shown that not only does it have significant benefit over standard care alone, but we’re seeing some longterm survivors – people who started the vaccine 10, 15 and now 20 yrs ago who are still alive and leading meaningful lives. This is unheard of with type 4 glioblastoma. Of course there are no guarantees with such a serious illness, but there is genuine hope and this is why we’re desperately raising the funds to pay for this. It’s a race against time.
